When painting walls put a piece of 1” or 1 1/2” masking tape horizontally at the top of the baseboard. This will act as an umbrella and prevent roller spray from landing on the baseboards.

After you have painted a wall re roll it again (before the wall is dry) with a dry roller this will get rid of any sausages and give you a more even/better coverage.
